Norwegian Grammy winner Marius Lien is back with a brand-new single, “Golden Parachute,” from his upcoming album Solar Sunset, set for release on October 24th. “Golden Parachute” is a quirky blend of folky psychedelia with a 60s flair, unplugged grunge, and indie rock energy. The track explores themes of growing into a more adult lifestyle — progressing from being a liability to becoming an asset. The single was recorded at Studio Paradiso in Oslo, Norway, with drummer Ola Øverby and bassist Nikolai Hængsle, using classic analog instruments and gear. It was mixed to stems by Marius Elfstedt, then mixed and mastered to ¼’’ tape by Anders Hajem and Øystein Greni, with digital mastering by Espen Høydalsvik. 🎶 Golden Parachute is out now on all digital platforms. 🌅 The full album, Solar Sunset, drops October
